Leading civil & structural engineering company Portland Consulting Engineers (Portland) held their annual Easter Reception event for 2024 on the 28th of March. The Easter Reception is the social highlight of the year for Portland, being held on Maundy Thursday every year in honour of the company’s founding. The event has become an established date in the diary within the North-East construction industry, with invitations highly sought after. This year’s event was a significant one as it celebrated the consultancy’s 20th anniversary.
The celebrations were held this year in the resplendent surroundings of the recently opened Manahatta bar in Newcastle. Our invited guests, made up of clients and colleagues, to thank them for their support over the year, were treated to a specially curated menu of refreshing cocktails and delicious canapes. Alongside this, attendees were shown a special video from our Directors, past and present, thanking them for their support over the years, recognising their valued contributions in helping the company get to where it is today.
