LEADING consulting Engineers firm, Portland welcomes an impressive five new members of staff to its fast-growing Gateshead-based office.
With a succession of new projects Portland expands its workforce with a mixture of talent and varied roles enhancing the profile of the business.
Amongst the new recruits are a Senior Structural Technician, a Structural Engineer, a Graduate Structural Engineer, Marketing Assistant and Administration Assistant.
Our appointment of Senior Structural Technician, Daniel Stephenson strengthens the Structural division. He brings over 7 years of experience working as a technician within various Engineering Consultancies.
Mehrdad Namdari joins as a Structural Engineer to bolster our Structural team. With 8 years of experience in analysis and design of steel structures and working on a range of sectors including offshore platforms and residential buildings.
Andrew Bryan joins the team as a Graduate Structural Engineer. Gaining his MEng in Civil & Structural Engineering from Newcastle University, before 3 years of postgraduate work experience as a Graduate Design Engineer.
Anthony Goodfellow, joins the team as a Marketing Assistant, providing support to the marketing and business development team. He has experience within this role, having spent 5 years supporting the marketing and business development of a mechanical engineering company.
Completing the new appointment line-up; Hannah joins the firm on a temporary basis until the resumption of her degree in September. She will be supporting our Office Manager with reception and administration duties.
